The Brazil's culinary, as its culture, has been influenced by many other countries
Since the colonization time, many european countries left their traces of domination, even if it was short, the countries that had influenced more in cookery were Italy, Portugal and Spain, as main settlers. A great curious point is the maintenance of african values, mostly, and indigenous as well, due to mix of the culture in the society in earlier centuries. The main contribution of the slaves from that time was the international well known "Feijoada"
In XVIII and XIX centuries, Brazil received thousands of inmigrants of many different countries, which helped to amplify the sort of different food and culture, the main countries represented by those inmigrants were Asian's, like Japan and China (Brazil has one of the biggest communities of Japan and China outside those countries in the World), and some other European's, as Germany and Holland
