THE "BOSSA NOVA"

One of the great gifts of Brazil to the world of music is the New Bossa (called Bossa Nova), that got a great world-wide repercussion. One is about a musical style that appears the middle of the decade of 50 and that it was imposed during years 60 due to the meeting of Brazilian music with the Jazz. The great success of this style came through the song "Girl of Ipanema", fruit of the contribution of Getz with the Brazilian musician João Gilbert and the singer Artrud Gilbert.
