AMAPÁ

Great part of its geography is covered by forests, and the remain for closed and fertile valley. In its coast still exist many virgin and isolated beaches. Almost one third part of its territory is part of 8 units of conservation and 2 aboriginal reserves.

	THE STATE
	The population is composed for descendants of Europeans, Africans and indians. The Amapá exports agricultural and forest minerals, wood, oil of dendê, and other products.

	MACAPÁ
	The capital is Macapá, the biggest situated city to the edge of the river Amazon. The urbanism of the city results in a sufficiently harmonious set and counts on some museums of interest.
