Brasilia is the capital of the country and one of the cities of more recent construction in the world, since it was drawn and exclusively constructed to be the center to politician of Brazil, where before was an unexplored and wild region of the center-west. It was planned by architects Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer. It is characterized for an architecture and urban planning of century XX was shaped in glass, marble and steel, and meets as a city of Patrimony of the Humanity. |

The residential zones are in called areas "supersquare", groups of self-contained buildings of six floors, since the space understood between the constructions is now occupied with commercial centers, schools, parks and theaters. |

Metropolitan Cathedral - In the center of the city it meets Cathedral Metropolitan, with capacity for 4.000 people was constructed on a circular base, encircled of columns (concrete arms that if extendem until the sky) joined by vitrais and has the inverted form of cálice, with a crown of thorns. In its interior, decorated with religious imágens, most of it is in the subterranean, below of the level of sólo. |

Palace of Dawn - It is the residence of the President of the Republic. Its columns, stiled losangos (decoration in form of gaps, whose acute angles projects in the parts upper/lower), had given origin to the symbol of this city. This building can be visited during the weekends. |

Park of the City - Located in the center of the city, the Park of the City offers the biggest green area for inhabitant in Brazil. Account with a surface of 4.000 km2, more than 6,000 species of trees. It makes use of a great track to walk, swimming pools of artificial waves, track of cycling, a lake, bars and restaurants. |
