MATO GROSSO DO SUL

Great part of the state was, in the passed century, domain of Paraguay, one of the countries that divide border with Brazil, and after a war, started to be part of Brazil. CAMPO GRANDE

It is the capital of the state of the Mato Grosso of the South, a small, but modern city, with ample, sufficiently woody streets and avenues.

 
Museum Dom Bosco - Also known as Museum of the Indian, is one of the most complete museums of natural history and aboriginal culture of the country, where it shows off etnográficas collections of birds, fish and reptiles, beyond objects of the tribes who inhabited the region.
 
Solar of the Baís - One of the constructions prettiest of the region is the Solar one of Baís, or Pimentel Pension, with neoclassic façade. Into 1938 it was become into the first hotel of the city and currently it is a cultural center and of attention to the tourists.
 
Park of Prosa - It is another place of interest of the city. Account with tracks of race, lakes and a musical pavilion.
 

CORUMBÁ

It is one of the main urban centers of the Mato Grosso of the South, and one of the main doors of entrance of the Pantanal. Its name means "distant place", since it meets in the extreme west of Brazil, and the access to it during much time if it made almost exclusively through the river Paraguay.
