RORAIMA

Located in the border with Venezuela and the English former-colony Guyana, the state of Roraima is characterized for the wealth in the hydrography, pertaining to the Amazonian basin, and mineral abundance.

THE STATE

In years 90, the federal government little decreed that 42% of the territory of the state were part of a reserve of approximately 30,000 indians, more than 10% of the population of Roraima. The state still conserve 33 aboriginal villages.

 

BOA VISTA

The capital, Boa Vista is a pretty city and well designed, covered for hoses and other trees of tropical fruits. Its modern drawing follows a urban project of the decade of 60. The tourist points of bigger interest are distinguished by Museum of the Indian and beaches situated on the edges of the Rio Branco.
